KLINGER Finland awarded the Finland’s Active Workplaces Certificate for 2026–2027

KLINGER Finland Oy has been awarded the Finland’s Active Workplaces certificate for 2026–2027 in recognition of its long-term and well-managed development of employee physical activity. The company achieved an overall score of 78% in the assessment, reflecting a strong commitment to promoting workplace wellbeing.

The Finland’s Active Workplaces assessment is a data-driven tool developed by the Finnish Olympic Committee and Buusti360. It enables organizations to systematically evaluate and develop their employee physical activity programs. A minimum score of 50% is required to receive the certificate.

A holistic approach to employee wellbeing

KLINGER Finland’s results demonstrate that employee physical activity is managed in a structured and comprehensive way. Our Finland’s Active Workplaces certificate highlights particular strengths in the following areas:

  • Role, leadership and resourcing of physical activity: 94% (excellent)
    Strong management support, clear planning and sufficient resources create a solid foundation for impactful employee wellbeing initiatives.
  • Conditions supporting physical activity: 100% (excellent)
    Well-designed facilities and practices enable physical activity as part of both the workday and commuting.
  • Physical activity services: 87% (excellent)
    A diverse range of services and events encourages employees to find ways of staying active that suit them best.
  • Communication: 100% (excellent)
    Active, multi-channel communication increases awareness and participation.
  • Monitoring systems: 100% (excellent)
    Systematic tracking of activities enables continuous improvement.
  • Employee activity level: 77% (good)
    Employees actively participate in the available opportunities.

In addition, cooperation with occupational healthcare was rated as good (68%), supporting the engagement of less active employees in particular.

In Finland, the annual cost of physical inactivity is estimated at approximately €7.5 billion, making workplace initiatives highly significant from a societal perspective.
