In every situation, we strive to act responsibly, lawfully and in accordance with the ethical values of our company. If there are any irregularities in our activities, we want to know.

We have introduced a confidential notification channel service. It allows our employees and stakeholders to safely report any irregularities they have observed. You can submit a notification if you suspect a criminal offence, misconduct or any other activity that is contrary to our company’s values.

Standard feedback, such as customer feedback, should be submitted by using the related feedback channels such as our contact form.

How can I submit a notification?

We recommend that you discuss the problems primarily with your manager or the person responsible for the matter in our company. However, if you do not wish to raise the matter with them, you can use the notification channel. You may submit your notification anonymously through the notification channel. You can also discuss the matter anonymously with the notification handler.

How will my notification be processed?

All notifications will be treated appropriately and confidentially. We will always protect the identity of the notifying person. We also protect the identity of the person who is the subject of the notification and any other parties mentioned in it.

The information in the notification can only be accessed by persons authorised to process it. We will not disclose your personal data to third parties without your consent. Notifications can be viewed only by authorised persons in our company. Personnel representatives are the Occupational Safety Commissioner and the First Deputy Occupational Safety Commissioner. Company management is represented by Financial Director Tea Hurme and Quality Director Micaela Roswall. Other experts may also be used in the processing to ensure appropriate handling.

How do I get a reply?

People authorised to process notifications in our company can ask you for more information about your notification via the notification channel. They will also respond through the channel within three months. They will let you know what action may be taken based on your notification. Please make a note of the code you receive after submitting your notification. You will need it to sign in and communicate with the notification handlers during the follow-up process.

Further information on protection of the identity of the notifier

The notification channel has been implemented with the impartial external partner Webropol Oy. This helps protect the identity of anonymous notifiers. Webropol Oy provides the technical implementation of the service and does not receive notifications.

Reports submitted through the notification channel are received and handled confidentially by authorised company representatives. Only authorised handlers have access to the notifications.

You can always submit a notification anonymously. The handlers cannot access metadata or IP addresses that could identify the notifier. All notifications are encrypted when they are created. Strong symmetric and asymmetric encryption is used, and the data cannot be decrypted or altered afterwards. The handlers will only see the date of the notification and the content of the notification.

If they wish, the notifier may include their name and contact details with the notification. The information in the notification can only be accessed by persons authorised to process it. We will not disclose your personal data to third parties without your express consent. The only exception is when the proper handling of the notification requires that information be provided to the authorities or similar bodies.

Please do not include sensitive personal data in the notification unless it is necessary for the description of the notification and its processing.
