Safety and efficiency in the gas industry require high-quality sealing and flow technologies that withstand demanding operating conditions. KLINGER Finland provides reliable solutions for handling, transferring, and storing gases such as hydrogen and ammonia. Our solutions enhance process safety, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness by minimizing leakage risks and optimizing system performance.

Our technologies support sustainable development, helping businesses reduce emissions and meet increasingly strict environmental targets. Our durable and long-lasting sealing and flow solutions ensure uninterrupted processes, reduced downtime, and extended system lifespan.

KLINGER Egraflex Steelflon Waveline WLP gasket

KLINGER WLP Waveline is the market’s tightest gasket for hydrogen handling. This innovative solution minimizes emissions and offers significant cost savings. It is up to 1,000 times tighter than traditional fiber gaskets.

  • Starting at 10 N/mm² leakage level 0.0001 mg/s m (DIN 28090-1)
  • Ultra-low emissions for environmental protection, safety, and cost-efficiency (compliant with the draft of VDI guideline 2440)
  • Meets leakage level requirements of VDI guideline 2440 and TA Luft
  • Blow-out safe
  • Suitable as a universal plant gasket due to excellent chemical resistance
  • No detectable cold flow
  • Quick to replace and does not stick to sealing surfaces thanks to PTFE coating

Die Erste butterfly valves

Butterfly valves control flow using a rotating disc. Their advantages include a compact design and, particularly in larger sizes, a lighter weight compared to other valve solutions. Quarter-turn operation ensures fast and efficient control. Different sealing options are available depending on the application.

  • Available with rubber-lined and metal-seated options for various applications
  • Material range includes cast iron, cast steel, gunmetal, aluminium bronze, and stainless steel
  • Temperature range: –173°C to +800°C, making them suitable for demanding conditions
  • Technical specifications: Size range DN 40–DN 2000, pressure rating PN 10–50 and ANSI Class 150–300
  • Various installation options: wafer type, mono-flange, flanged, and LUG-type

DetecTape H2 Leak Detection Tape

An innovative visual hydrogen leak detector that changes color when in contact with hydrogen. This easy-to-use and cost-effective solution enhances safety and speeds up the identification of leak points.

  • No adhesive – bonds to itself and can be used on all metal substrates
  • Resistant to chemicals and UV radiation
  • Temperature range: -54 °C to +232 °C
  • Easy to install without surface preparation
  • Changes color within minutes upon detecting hydrogen
  • Requires no power and is suitable for connections up to 40 ¼” diameter
