Are you looking for the tightest possible solution for hydrogen or other gases/liquids that minimizes emissions and saves money? KLINGER Waveline WLP® competes in tightness with only a weld seam. This gasket sets new standards for low emissions when sealing toxic, environmentally harmful, or simply expensive gaseous media, making it an ideal choice for a sealing strategy aimed at the lowest possible emission level. KLINGER Waveline WLP® is up to a thousand times tighter than a traditional fiber gasket and a hundred times tighter than a spiral wound gasket.
The inner structure of the plate consists of several 0.5 mm thick layers of very high purity graphite and 0.05 mm thick layers of 1.4571 steel foil. The surface of the gasket is made of 1.4571 steel sheet coated with a 0.05 mm thick PTFE layer. The gasket is completely adhesive-free.
- The tightest on the market, starting at a leakage level of 0.0001 mg/s m at 10 N/mm² (DIN 28090-1)
- Very low emissions for environmental protection, safety, and economy (according to the draft of VDI guideline 2440) and due to very low surface and through leakage.
