LOHSE GmbH is a German manufacturer of LOHSE valves, with core expertise in knife gate valves and in special valves designed for media containing fibres and solids. The company’s solutions are used above all in processes where conventional shut-off valves are unsuitable due to the properties of the medium or the operating conditions.
LOHSE products are widely used in the pulp and paper industry, the chemical industry, mining, and water and wastewater treatment. The valves are designed for fibre suspensions, sludges, media containing solids and other demanding processes in which wear resistance, ease of maintenance and operational reliability are key requirements.

LOHSE modular system
LOHSE COMPACT design is based on a two-part valve body, which means that wearing parts and actuators can be serviced or replaced without removing the valve body from the pipeline. The modular construction simplifies maintenance and allows the valve to be adapted as process requirements change.
All LOHSE COMPACT valves consist of a body section and an operating element, and these operating elements are interchangeable with one another even when installed — provided that the necessary safety precautions are observed.
