Thermal labels are a cost-effective solution as they do not require a ribbon for printing. These labels use heat-sensitive material that reacts directly to the heat from the print head, making the printing process quick and simple.

Special thermal printers, designed specifically for this purpose, are used for printing thermal labels. The surface of the material reacts sensitively to the heat produced by the printer, but also to environmental factors such as moisture and sunlight. Therefore, heat-sensitive material is best suited for short-term use in fast-moving products that are not exposed to demanding external conditions.
