Ventus A3 – A printing solution for A3-sized labels

Ventus A3 is a label printing solution developed and assembled by KLINGER Finland for A3-sized labels. The system has been designed specifically for the needs of the paper industry and for labeling paper rolls, where A3-sized labels have been used for decades. Ventus A3 combines the performance of an industrial A3 label printer with a complete solution that prepares the printed label for downstream handling.

With Ventus A3, the printed label is separated from the liner, which is then rewound onto a dedicated rewinder unit. This makes the printed label easy to handle in various downstream packaging systems. The system can be mounted on a stand either upright or upside down, depending on the label application solution used by the customer or system integrator.

Ventus A3 is designed for ease of use and reliable operation in demanding industrial environments. Threading the label through the printer and attaching the liner to the rewinder unit spindle is simple, and the liner roll can be easily removed from the rewinder unit. The separate enclosed control panel can be installed in an ergonomic location for the operator, regardless of the orientation of the printer unit.

Printing can be performed using either thermal transfer technology with a ribbon or direct thermal printing on thermally sensitive label material without a ribbon. Ventus A3 supports both fan-folded labels and roll-fed label material. The system uses a SATO printer unit and is designed for demanding operating environments where production line reliability is essential.
