SATO CL6-SXR

The SATO CL6-SXR series of industrial label printers combines a wide print area, fast printing and precise output. Supporting both direct thermal and thermal transfer printing, the series is designed for high-volume manufacturing, warehousing and logistics applications, including shipping, pallet and product labelling.

The CL6-SXR delivers print speeds of up to 355.6 mm/s at both 203 and 305 dpi. Standard print width is 152 mm on the 203 dpi model and 165.3 mm on the 305 dpi model. An extended print area supports widths of up to 167.5 mm.

Advanced sensors and media handling enable print positioning accuracy of up to ±0.3 mm under the manufacturer’s specified test conditions. Actual accuracy depends on the media and operating environment. A die-cast aluminium frame and redesigned printing mechanism support stable performance in demanding industrial environments.

A quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, 8 GB Flash memory and 2 GB RAM provide the processing capacity required for demanding printing tasks. A customisable 4.3-inch colour touchscreen simplifies daily operation. Print preview, built-in guidance videos and on-screen instructions help operators manage tasks and resolve problems.

AI-powered predictive maintenance through SATO Online Services (SOS) helps identify potential failures before they cause downtime. Remote management enables printers to be monitored and operated even when installed in locations that are difficult to access.

The SATO Application Enabled Printing (AEP) platform supports custom applications and standalone operation without a host computer. Extensive interfaces and printer language emulations simplify integration with existing systems. An optional UHF RFID module enables RFID label printing and encoding.

A label waste prevention function allows printing from the first label on a newly loaded roll under supported conditions. The printer accommodates label rolls up to 220 mm in diameter and ribbons up to 600 metres long.
