The Domino Vx350i is an industrial thermal transfer coding solution for demanding packaging applications where large, high-resolution codes, text, and graphics are required on flexible materials such as films, foils, and labels. Compared with traditional marking technologies—such as hot stamp and roller coding—digital thermal transfer printing delivers superior print quality, improved readability, and lower total cost of ownership.

The Vx350i’s direct drive technology and intelligent ribbon-saving print modes reduce ribbon consumption by up to 60% per print, while ribbon reels of up to 1,200 metres minimise downtime and increase production efficiency. The device is ideally suited for high-volume production lines and applications with a high proportion of variable data.

Designed for demanding industrial use

The Domino Vx350i is a fully electric, industrial-grade thermal transfer printer designed for reliable, long-term operation. It integrates seamlessly with a wide range of packaging machinery, including labelling machines, flow wrappers, and vertical and horizontal form-fill-seal machines (VFFS / HFFS).

The user-friendly cassette design speeds up ribbon changes, and for harsh environments a washdown cassette and connector protection are available. When required, the printer can be equipped with washdown protection (IP55), making it an excellent choice for the food, pharmaceutical, and life sciences industries.

Flexible installation and wide compatibility

Its compact design and versatile mounting options allow the Vx350i to be easily integrated into almost any production line, including as a replacement for existing equipment. The printer is available in both right-hand and left-hand configurations and supports both intermittent and continuous motion applications.

The Vx350i does not require compressed air and operates fully electrically. It can be connected directly to the production line control system via Ethernet or used with a separate user interface such as the TouchPanel6 touchscreen. It supports a wide range of common coding standards, including QR and Data Matrix codes as well as GS1 Digital Link compatibility, improving traceability and regulatory compliance.

Power for both slow and high-speed lines

The Domino Vx350i operates reliably across a wide speed range of up to 1,200 mm/s and is capable of up to 8.3 prints per second. With encoder control, it adapts to varying line speeds and delivers consistent, high-quality print results even under demanding conditions.
