SATO S84NX and S86NX

SATO S84NX and S86NX series represent SATO’s latest generation of industrial print engines. They are designed for demanding environments where high print speed, broad compatibility, and reliable 24/7 operation are essential.

The print engines support both Thermal Transfer (TT) and Direct Thermal (DT) printing technologies and are available in 4-inch and 6-inch print widths. Automatic emulation detection enables easy migration from legacy SATO models or other manufacturers’ print engines without any software modifications.

SATO S84NX (4”)

• Maximum print width: 104 mm
• Print resolution: 203, 305, or 609 dpi
• Maximum print speed: up to 406 mm/s
• Suitable for text, barcode, 2D, and RFID labels
• Available in TT and DT versions, also RFID-ready

SATO S86NX (6”)

• Maximum print width: 168 mm
• Print resolution: 203 or 305 dpi
• Maximum print speed: up to 355 mm/s
• An excellent choice for large labels and logistics applications
• Thermal transfer (TT) models, RFID option available
