The angle sensor measures the angle between two objects. Angle measurement can be absolute or incremental: with absolute sensors, the angle information is immediately available after power is turned on, whereas with incremental sensors, one must first go to the home position and start counting from there.
The RM/RE36 angle sensor includes the following features:
- Magnetic principle angle sensor with loose magnet (RM36) or shaft (RE36)
- Resolution 13 bit
- Protection class IP64 or IP68
- Outputs 0-10 Vdc / -10–+10 Vdc / 4…20 mA
- Measurement ranges 45/90/180/360 degrees
