The angle sensor measures the angle between two objects. Angle measurement can be absolute or incremental: with absolute sensors, the angle information is immediately available after power is turned on, whereas with incremental sensors, one must first go to the home position and start counting from there.
The Aksim angle sensor is available both encased and unencased and includes the following features:
- Absolute sensor with separate readhead and magnetic ring
- Resolution 18 bit
- Various sizes of magnetic rings available
- SSI, SPI, PWM, USB, RS-422 outputs available
