Product description

Stepper motors are a type of brushless DC motor renowned for their precise control and ability to convert digital pulses into mechanical motion. Unlike traditional motors that spin continuously, stepper motors move in discrete steps, making them ideal for applications requiring accurate positioning, such as robotics, 3D printers, CNC machines, and automated systems.

The operation of a stepper motor relies on its construction, typically featuring multiple coils (phases) and a magnetic rotor. By energizing the coils in a specific sequence, the motor advances in precise increments, with each step corresponding to a fixed angular displacement. This step-by-step motion provides precise control over speed, direction, and position, making stepper motors well-suited for open-loop control systems.

Tamagawa Seiki stepper motors have a high torque, compact size and low rotor inertia. All motors have a square flange. Available sizes range from NEMA 08 to 42. The step angle is 0,45 , 0,9 or 1,8 degrees and they are well suited for microstepping. Torque range is 0,011 – 8 Nm. Customized models are also available. High quality products made in Japan.
