In a 3-point bending test measuring elasticity, KLINGER® Quantum has been proven to retain its quality and flexibility significantly better than traditional fiber-reinforced gaskets. Typically, the use of fiber-reinforced gaskets has been limited to continuous temperatures below 200 degrees, and the materials have not withstood temperature and pressure fluctuations due to brittleness. KLINGER® Quantum retains its flexibility even at continuous use up to 350 degrees without becoming brittle, making it suitable for more applications than any other fiber-reinforced gasket. Applications
KLINGER® Quantum is suitable for sealing applications using media such as oil, water, steam, gases, brine solutions, fuels, alcohols, weak organic or inorganic acids, hydrocarbons, lubricants, or refrigerant fluids.
Approvals
KLINGER® Quantum gasket material has approvals including BAM, DIN-DVGW, TA-Luft, FDA, and FireSafe (API 607). All approvals and certificates can be found here.
