KLINGER® top-chem 2003
KLINGER® top-chem 2003 is a modified PTFE gasket that conforms to the contours of flange faces and seals reliably even at low surface loads. Gas tightness is excellent even at low installation surface pressure. In terms of chemical resistance the material is equivalent to top-chem 2000 and is suitable for strongly acidic and alkaline media. The two products differ in their mechanical properties: top-chem 2003 is intended for medium and low temperatures and loads. In applications where the temperature exceeds 100 °C or the surface load is high, KLINGER® top-chem 2000 should be selected — it can also be used as a replacement for top-chem 2003.
Conformable PTFE gasket for low surface loads
High compressibility and good conformability make this gasket a safe choice for applications where the flange does not permit high surface pressure.Applications
