Flat Gasket KLINGERtop-chem 2000

KLINGER® top-chem 2000 is a unique modified PTFE gasket. It is the only gasket material on the market reinforced with silicon carbide material. This gives it the best properties of all PTFE gaskets on the market. Top-chem 2000 is the only PTFE gasket with mechanical properties sufficient for applications with temperatures above 200°C. Unlike other PTFE sheet gaskets, Top-chem 2000 does not require retightening. The gasket has excellent chemical resistance to strong acids and bases, as well as excellent mechanical properties at high temperatures and pressures.

Due to its versatility, Top-chem 2000 is suitable as a general-purpose gasket for the plant, minimizing the number of gasket materials needed. KLINGER® top-chem 2000 is the only PTFE gasket with Fire Safe certification and is also blow-out tested. Top-chem 2000 performs best at high surface pressures.

Applications

KLINGER® top-chem 2000 is very well suited for many applications in the pulp and paper industry, as well as the chemical and petrochemical industries. The gasket is also very well suited for applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries, such as steam applications and oxygen pipes, as well as applications where high clean air requirements are needed, ref. TA Luft. Due to its properties, the gasket meets the environmental permit requirements for the use of BAT (Best Available Technology) technology and is therefore compliant with legal requirements.

Top-chem 2000 is excellent for heat exchangers or other applications with high temperatures or large temperature fluctuations.

Approvals

KLINGER® top-chem 2000 gasket has approvals such as Oxygen EN1797 for oxygen applications, DIN-DVGW for gas applications, as well as TA Luft, FireSafe, and FDA approvals.
