Flat Gasket KLINGERmilam PSS

KLINGER^® Milam-PSS is a mica-based sealing material with a stainless steel tanged insert. The material has been designed especially for hot and dry gases up to temperatures of 900 degrees. The gasket is not, however, suitable for high pressures (max 5 bar). Manufactured in Switzerland.

Milam is a unique material that performs exceptionally well at high temperatures. It is the only sheet material for which calculation according to the pressure equipment standard EN 1591-4 is possible up to a temperature of 650°C. The gasket's service life is significantly better than that of many comparable materials.

Typical uses

KLINGER^® Milam-PSS is especially well-suited for exhaust manifolds, turbines, turbochargers, air heat exchangers, and burner ducting. However, thanks to the excellent chemical resistance of Mica, the gasket is suitable for a wide range of other applications.
