Joint sealants and tapes

Sealing tapes are part of the basic maintenance inventory to ensure quick repair of processes and equipment in sudden emergency situations.

Sealing tapes are typically used to replace flange gaskets, especially for flanges and sealing surfaces with non-standard dimensions. The tapes are easy to install thanks to their adhesive backing and easily moldable structure. When using sealing tapes, material waste is almost non-existent.

Sealex sealing tapes are primarily used with low bolt loads. Top-flon multi tape can be used with higher bolt loads due to its superior mechanical properties. Graphite tapes are most commonly used in the refurbishment of serrated gasket profiles, but in some cases, they can also be used directly for flange sealing.
