KLINGERSIL® C-4500
KLINGERSIL® C-4500 is a premium quality gasket material based on carbon fibers. It is designed for alkaline media and high temperatures, which makes it especially suitable for the paper and chemical industries, for example. The gasket withstands high pressures and continuous temperatures of up to 250 °C, and it offers excellent load resistance.
The gasket can be replaced with the KLINGER® top-chem 2000 PTFE gasket material, which is suitable for strong acids and alkalis. If the plant’s gasket materials are to be standardized, it can also be replaced, with some restrictions, with KLINGER® Quantum.

Applications
- Suitable for use with alkaline media, water and steam at higher temperatures, continuously up to 250 °C
