KLINGERSIL® C-8200 is a fiberglass reinforced seal with acid-resistant CSM elastomer, suitable for a variety of media. The seal has exceptional acid resistance and is therefore suitable to use in aggressive chemical environments. The seal can be replaced with KLINGER® top-chem 2000 PTFE material or, with reservations, KLINGER® Quantum.
Typical uses
KLINGERSIL® C-8200 gasket material is suitable for applications using i.e. acids, alkalis, ketones, aldehydes, refrigerants, oils, fuels, or hydrocarbons.
Approvals
KLINGERSIL® C-8200 gasket material has i.e. TA-Luft, and Germanischer Lloyd approvals.
