KLINGERSIL® C-4430 is a premium grade universal gasket material, suitable even for temperatures of 250 degrees. The gasket is manufactured from an optimised combination of synthetic fibres and glass-fibre bound with NBR. The material has exceptional pressure resistance and is therefore well-suited for e.g. steam and hot water applications. The seal can be replaced with KLINGER® top-chem 2000 PTFE material or, with reservations, KLINGER® Quantum.
Typical uses
KLINGERSIL® C-4430 is suitable for water, steam, oils, gases, salt solutions, fuels, alcohols, weak organic and inorganic acids, hydrocarbons, lubricants, or refrigerants.
Approvals
KLINGERSIL® C-4430 gasket material is approved for i.e. BAM, DIN-DVGW, TA-Luft and Fire-Safe.
