A new era in flexibility at high temperatures with fibre-reinforced gasket materials.

KLINGER^®Quantum is the first fibre-reinforced gasket material in the world that is exclusively HNBR-bound. Thanks to a unique production process developed specifically for this purpose, the material can be used at higher temperatures. It is also suitable for a much wider range of media than other fibre-reinforced gasket materials currently available. KLINGER® Quantum gaskets retain their flexibility even at constant high temperatures. At the same time, they fulfil modern requirements for tightness and safety.

Never seen before flexibility

In a 3-point bending test measuring material elasticity, KLINGER® Quantum retained its quality and flexibility significantly better than traditional fibre-reinforced gasket materials. Traditionally, fibre-reinforced gaskets have been limited to constant operating temperatures below 200°C. Their ability to adapt to changing temperatures and pressures has also been limited by their tendency to become brittle. KLINGER® Quantum retains its flexibility even at a constant operating temperature of 350°C without becoming brittle. It is therefore suitable for more applications than any other fibre-reinforced gasket. By choosing KLINGER® Quantum, you significantly reduce the risk of brittleness, crack formation and leakage. This improves the operating efficiency of your application.

Typical uses

KLINGER® Quantum is suitable for applications involving oil, water, steam, gases, salt solutions, fuels, alcohols, weak organic and inorganic acids, hydrocarbons, lubricants and refrigerants.

KLINGER® Quantum gasket material is approved according to BAM, DIN-DVGW, TA-Luft, FDA and FireSafe (API 607) requirements.
