PTFE PACKINGS

PTFE packings are known for their low coefficient of friction and for not sticking to surfaces. The packings have outstanding resistance to chemicals, high compressive strength and they retain their dimensions well. PTFE packings are suitable for continuous use in -250 – +260 °C. The packing has been preshaped and as such is easy to mount. PTFE packings are a popular choice for difficult applications including media such as strong solvents, corrosive chemicals or oxidising media. PTFE packings are suitable for a wide range of applications for both valves and pumps.
