LABELS AND RIBBONS
We provide roll labels both printed and blank, manufactured using flexographic or digital printing techniques. Our leading material suppliers offer a wide range of surface materials and adhesive options suitable for various applications. Printed labels are typically used for product labeling.
Photographic-quality four-color labels can be enhanced with spot colors, varnishes, and decorative hot or cold foiling. Printing is not limited to the surface of the label; it can also be applied to the adhesive side or the backing paper. Product labels can be multi-layered, allowing more information to fit into a small labeling area. For promotional stickers, features like scratch-off surfaces hiding variable prize codes can be included.
Blank labels are commonly used in label and sticker printers. Thermal-sensitive labels are suitable for thermal printers, while thermal transfer labels are used in thermal transfer printers with ribbon. We supply blank labels and ribbons directly from our stock, ensuring fast delivery for your needs.
Ribbons
High-quality print results require high-quality materials. KLINGER Finland has extensive experience not only in marking systems but also in the specific demands that labeling places on printing supplies. Choosing the correct ribbon ensures the best possible print quality.
Our KLINGER Meckband ribbon range includes products for both flat head (FH) and near edge (NE) thermal transfer printers. The various ribbon types are compatible with different surface materials, including paper, cardboard, PE, PP, polyester, and textiles.
Wax ribbons are best suited for printing on paper materials where the print is not exposed to abrasion, chemicals, or high temperatures. Typical applications include logistics labeling.
High-Quality Ribbons for All Printing Needs
Wax-resin ribbons are suitable for both paper and plastic materials, offering better resistance to mechanical stress. Typical applications include printing product labels and various markings in the pharmaceutical industry.
Solvent-based resin ribbons are used for printing on PE, PP, and polyester materials. The print output withstands high temperatures, abrasion, moisture, and chemicals, making them ideal for type or rating plate labels. Resin ribbons often eliminate the need for lamination.
All our ribbons come with the necessary UL/CSA certifications. For TTO (thermal transfer overprinting) printers, near-edge ribbons are available in various qualities, tailored to the surface material being printed.
