Blue-PTFE

Blue-PTFE is the first modified PTFE gasket to address the cold flow problems of pure PTFE. The product is old-fashioned and does not have current approvals for gasket use. For example, new environmental requirements require the use of BAT and verified tightness values, so we do not recommend using the material as a sealant. Blue-PTFE has been effectively replaced by the most modern alternative to KLINGER^® top-chem 2000 PTFE material.
