#teamKLINGER on the Move for a Good Cause at the Wings for Life World Run 2026

Wings For Life World Run 2026

On Sunday, 10 May 2026, KLINGER Finland participated for the second consecutive year in the international Wings for Life World Run charity event as part of the global #teamKLINGER across the entire KLINGER Group.

At the heart of the Wings for Life World Run is an important mission: to run, walk, and roll for those who cannot. All proceeds from the event are directed to spinal cord research, with the goal of finding a cure for spinal cord injuries.

This year, 14 participants from KLINGER Finland and 2 participants from our subsidiary KLINGER Baltic took part in the event. The international #teamKLINGER event team consisted of a total of 185 participants from 30 KLINGER companies. Together, our team covered an impressive 1,566 kilometres and achieved an excellent 80th place in the global team ranking.

A Global Event for an Important Cause

The 2026 Wings for Life World Run once again broke records, bringing together 346,527 participants from 173 countries and raising a total of €9.2 million for spinal cord research. The event united runners, walkers, and wheelchair participants from around the world to move together for a shared cause.

One of the unique aspects of the Wings for Life World Run is that 100% of all entry fees are donated directly to spinal cord research. Over the years, the event has helped fund hundreds of research projects worldwide.

Community Spirit Across Borders

Participating in #teamKLINGER once again brought colleagues together from around the world. Although participants moved across different countries and time zones, a shared purpose united the entire team. The event is becoming a meaningful tradition that we hope to continue participating in for years to come.

KLINGER Finland would like to warmly thank all participants, supporters, and organizers involved. Every kilometre and every step helped support important research while also creating memorable shared experiences.
