DIS Sensors has launched the new analog QG65N2 inclinometer, a successor to the popular QG65 series of analog inclinometers. Designed to deliver improved accuracy, reliability, and durability, the QG65N2 is ideal for demanding environments such as construction machinery, agricultural equipment, and industrial automation.
This next-generation launch continues DIS Sensors’ tradition of developing state-of-the-art technologies for professionals worldwide. KLINGER Finland is the official distributor of DIS Sensors in Finland.
Key features and enhancements of the QG65N2 inclinometer
The DIS QG65N2 measures the inclination of objects relative to gravity. Tilt sensors are widely used in mobile devices, such as personnel hoists as well as agricultural and forestry machines. The sensor always measures the angle straight in respect to the ground. However, some sensors include a separate calibration option, which allows you to set the zero point even if the sensor is installed in an angle.
The QG65N2 series is built on a new technology platform featuring an updated MEMS chip, programmable output signals, and a device firmware platform based on a new operating system. This ensures easy maintenance and facilitates future feature upgrades.
- Accuracy options: Available in both standard and high-accuracy models.
- Improved connectivity: The default connector has been updated from M12 8-pin to M12 5-pin.
- Expanded features:
- Measurement range: Single-axis models up to 0…360°; dual-axis models (±90°) maintain accuracy across the full range, not just ±60°.
- Output options: 4–20 mA and voltage outputs with options to combine both. The default voltage output is now 0–10 V.
- Operating voltage: 10–30 Vdc.
- Cross-axis alert: Optional programmable alert level (default off).
- Durability: Fully sealed reinforced plastic housing; IP67, IP69K. Also available as the QG76 model with a stainless steel housing.
- Certifications: UL-certified and E4-ready (compliant with automotive EMC tests)
Features retained from the previous QG65 series
- Accuracy, bandwidth, and measurement ranges
- Zero-point adjustment within ±5°.
- OEM options: Output voltage/current, measurement range, connectivity, etc.
- Compatibility with previous Models
- High-accuracy models
- M12 8-pin models available upon request and can be installed upside down.
- 0.5–4.5 V voltage output available upon request.
Future developments
