KLINGER Finland Oy’s strategic planning process, which began last year, has now been completed, and our new strategy guiding our operations for 2023–2026 is ready. The strategy is based on our vision of how we want to influence a changing world and serve our customers.
In our strategic work, we clarified our purpose, and our journey will be guided by our Vision for 2030. By 2030, our goal is to be the most desired and respected partner in our industry. Additionally, we aim to be a strong, entrepreneurial, and unified company with happy employees and to have achieved our growth targets with a turnover exceeding €80 million. We also want to be a strong partner for our customers, demonstrated by an NPS (Net Promoter Score) of over 60%.
To achieve our vision, we have set clear strategic goals and developed an annual roadmap to reach our objectives.
A Strong Customer-Centric and Profitable Service Model
To be the most desired and respected partner for our customers, we will build a strong customer-centric and profitable service model. We want to be a strategic partner for our customers from the planning stage throughout the entire logistics chain. Our new service concept will include design and digital services, with sustainability guiding all our operations. One example of our commitment to sustainability is our goal to be fully carbon-neutral in our own operations by the end of 2026. This will directly benefit our customers, as our zero emissions will reduce their CO2 burden. We will achieve carbon neutrality by exclusively using electric vehicles, sourcing carbon-neutral energy, and improving our energy efficiency. Additionally, we will use freight carriers that offer 100% carbon-compensated transport.
To ensure we are heading in the right direction in terms of customer focus, we will closely monitor customer satisfaction. In the near future, we will send a customer satisfaction survey to all our customers and will regularly measure customer satisfaction while keeping a close eye on our NPS score. Without satisfied customers, we cannot be the most desired and respected partner. By developing our service business, we will support both customer satisfaction and our company’s growth and profitability.
Recruiting 30 New Employees by the End of 2026
In addition to satisfied customers, the second cornerstone of our growth and success is happy and committed employees. We will continue to monitor employee satisfaction through employee satisfaction surveys, aiming to become a Great Place to Work-certified company. We will invest in high-quality leadership through training and peer support provided by a leadership forum. This ensures that all our staff are led consistently and fairly at the team level.
We will also strengthen our human resources and HR expertise. Our strategy includes plans to recruit 30 new employees by the end of 2026. Some of these hires will replace retiring employees, but most will be new resources. In addition to employee satisfaction, we will also focus on enhancing our staff’s expertise through training and personal goals.
To ensure smooth recruitment processes and achieve our recruitment targets, even with these numbers, we have signed a 3-year partnership agreement with ATA Henkilöstöpalvelut Oy, a company we have previously worked with.
“We have had a seamless recruitment partnership with KLINGER, allowing managers to focus on their own work while still being involved in the recruitment process by meeting candidates pre-screened by ATA and selecting the right talents. KLINGER’s values, long-term employment relationships, and competitive salaries align with the demands of the job market, and successful recruitment has been achieved through close and effective collaboration. We are excited to continue this well-established partnership.
Planned recruitment, scheduling, and preparing for seasonal needs in collaboration with ATA Henkilöstöpalvelut will save time for KLINGER’s managers and reduce company costs. The future of partnerships in the staffing industry lies in long-term customer relationships, and we are eager to see where things stand by the summer of 2026,” comments Elina Petäjäniemi, Unit Manager and Partner.
“As we significantly grow our organization, it is crucial that we can rely on a partner who understands our needs and can find talent for us, whether they are early in their careers or experienced professionals. At the same time, high-quality communication with candidates, even those not selected, helps build a positive reputation for our company in the job market – perhaps some of them will find their way to us in the next recruitment process,” notes CEO Esa Virtanen.
