KLINGER Finland Oy’s subsidiary ECONOSTO Oy will merge into its parent company on January 1, 2027. The merger is a natural continuation of the collaboration that began in 2022, bringing the Kuopio-based company’s specialized valve expertise even closer to KLINGER Finland’s operations.
ECONOSTO Oy became part of KLINGER in 2022, when KLINGER Finland acquired the Kuopio-based valve specialist, founded in 1987. The acquisition was driven by the companies’ complementary expertise and their shared ambition to develop solutions for industrial customers.
Over the decades, ECONOSTO Oy has established a strong position as a supplier of demanding valve and flow control solutions. Its expertise covers everything from day-to-day product deliveries to extensive project deliveries, particularly in the marine industry, infrastructure, process industries, and wholesale trade.
Founded in 1940, KLINGER Finland offers a broad range of industrial products and services, supported by the expertise and global network of the international KLINGER Group.
Now, more than four years after the acquisition, the collaboration is taking its next step.

As of January 1, 2027, ECONOSTO Oy’s business operations will continue under the name KLINGER Finland Oy. The merger builds on years of close collaboration and creates even better opportunities to leverage our combined expertise and resources for the benefit of our customers.
Together, we can meet our customers’ needs even more comprehensively – from individual products and customized solutions to demanding project deliveries and maintenance services. At the same time, we are strengthening our role as a long-term partner, supporting our customers’ processes and equipment throughout their entire life cycle.

Operations in Kuopio Continue with Familiar Experts
Operations in Kuopio will continue as usual following the merger. Our familiar experts will continue serving customers at the existing facilities in Sorsasalo.
The technical expertise built up in Kuopio over decades, experience in demanding deliveries, and close customer relationships will remain an important part of KLINGER Finland’s operations.
