TE TPS pressure sensor

TE Connectivity – TPS pressure sensors are low-pressure MEMS sensors that offer state-of-the-art pressure sensing technology combined with CMOS mixed-signal processing, providing either analog and/or digital output. The output is fully conditioned and multi-stage pressure and temperature compensated. This series is available in a JEDEC-standard SOIC-16 package with dual vertical, dual horizontal, or manifold port options. The sensors are available in gage, differential, and asymmetric differential versions. The dual ports enable a reference measurement that reduces errors caused by changes in ambient pressure.

By combining the pressure sensor and signal conditioning ASIC in the same package, the use of advanced silicon micromechanical pressure sensors is simplified. The sensor can be mounted directly on a standard PCB, and a high-level calibrated pressure signal is obtained through the digital interface. This eliminates the need for additional circuitry such as a compensation network or a microcontroller containing a custom correction algorithm.

TPS products are delivered in tape and reel packaging.
